There are certain requirements in order to qualify to get an Instant Confidential
Marriage License.
1. All couples that want to apply for a Confidential Marriage License MUST STATE that they are Living
Together. (The definition of living together as is very vague).
2. Ceremony must take place within

4. Both Bride and Groom MUST be over 18.
5. MUST have
current valid identification. You are REQUIRED to present a CURRENT government-issued photo I.D. such as a passport, a driver's
license, a state I.D. card or a green card.
6. For Foreign Citizens a passport is required.
7. If you were previously married and
the final dissolution was within the last two years, a copy of your divorce decree, annulment decree or death certificate will
be required.
If the final dissolution was more than two years, written proof may not be required, but the date of the final dissolution
must be provided at the time the license is requested.
8. Applicants can only be an Unmarried Man and Woman.

What is the difference between a Confidential License and a Public License?
A. A Confidential license is recorded by the
County but not made accessible to public view. It only requires the Couple’s signature and the Officiants signature. No Witness required.
Only the Bride or Groom can obtain a copy or by court order.
A Public License is a part of the public record. It requires either one
or two witnesses to sign the license and anyone can obtain a copy.
Q. Is their a waiting period to get a Confidential Marriage
License?
A. No. They can be issued on the spot as long as the required information shown above is completed. It is faster and
easier if the application is filled out ahead of time to facilitate the completing of the paperwork.
